Accepted (Steam Community)
We price tradable trading cards, profile backgrounds and emoticons from Steam Community (app 753). Those are the items you send to us. Credit is estimated from live rates — backgrounds and emotes are typically a fraction of a cent each, so you need a real pile before a $1 skin is in range.
Your Steam inventory must be public for the Trade page to load it. If privacy is set to Friends Only or Private, you will see a retry state instead of items.
Not accepted as a deposit
CS2 skins, stickers and cases in your own CS2 inventory are not what you send in. Those are what you receive. Gems, gems-on-items, coupons, non-tradable drops, and items Steam will not let you trade are filtered out.
A Steam profile with 5,000 mixed items is not 5,000 eligible items. Only tradable cards, backgrounds and emotes count toward credit.
Holds and limits
Steam trade holds, limited accounts and market restrictions can delay or block an offer. We cannot skip a Steam-imposed hold. If an offer fails to send, open Support with your trade code — do not send items to a random profile claiming to be ItemStash.
